Slovakia return of Boxes SkyToll

RETURN OF SKYTOLL DEVICES

We will return the SkyToll device for you. Do not hesitate. The ticket for a late refund is €257!

If the Slovak SkyToll has not been used for 6 months, you will receive a letter from the operator requesting the return of OBU and information on imposing a fine of € 257.

Return of a box is 3 simple steps

Fill in the form

Fill out the form below with some basic data necessary to return the device. Deposit for the device in the amount of € 50 and the balance will be transferred to your bank account.

Send us OBU

Send us the device in a parcel. Enclose copies of the registration documents to which OBU was registered to the parcel. You can send several devices in one shipment. Remember there is a penalty of € 257 for failure to return.

Pay for the return

Refund fee is only €16 gross. This amount includes a comprehensive approach to the return of the device. Preparation of documents, delivery of equipment to Slovakia and execution of refunds.

CAUTION: For the return of the Slovak SkyToll box, we need a copy or scanned car registration certificate using which the box was registered. Do not forget to attach it to the form. Alternatively, you can send via email or in the shipment including the device.

There are various types of devices allowed to collect tolls in the Slovak SkyToll system. We support the return of all. The pictures include visuals of Billien OBU 5010, Sitraffic Sensus Unit and OBU 1374.

HOW IS THE RETURN COMPLETED?

We have a comprehensive approach to returns. All you need to do is transfer us SkyToll device, provide the necessary data by completing the short form and the funds will be returned to your indicated bank account.

WILL I REGAIN MY DEPOSIT AND BALANCE?

Thanks to our help, you will recover all unused prepaid funds (balance) and a deposit of 50 €.

HOW DO I PAY FOR THE RETURN?​

Charges for the return of devices from individual countries can be found in the PRICE LIST. We enable our clients several options to pay for the return. Transfer to our bank account, fast internet transfers, payment by card, PayPal or BLIK. You can also wait with the payment until we send an invoice by e-mail which will contain the data for the transfer. We send invoices after receiving the devices.

WHEN DOES SKYTOLL CHARGE A PENALTY OF € 257?

The user must return the device within 7 days from the expiration of the Agreement on the use of designated sections of toll roads. The agreement on the use of designated road sections in SkyToll shall expire if the period of 6 months has expired since the last toll transaction has been recorded by the on-board unit. If the on-board unit is not returned within the prescribed period, the Vehicle Operator is obliged to pay a contractual penalty to the System Administrator in the amount of 257 €.

DID YOU DAMAGE, DESTROY OR LOSE THE BOX?

The system administrator will impose contractual penalties in the amount of € 257 also in the case of returning the device bearing traces of mechanical damage such as: scratches, cracks, broken housing, opened housing, marked with a felt-tip pen, etc.

WHEN DO I HAVE A VALID EXPIRATION DATE?

We have the ability to check in the system if the device is close to the “prescription” deadline. It is the client who decides whether to seek reimbursement in such cases. We inform our clients about the time of “prescription” of the Boxes and the risk of SkyToll postponing the return of the deposit for the Box and Balance, and the threat of imposing a penalty. We consider the last 45 days of the device’s validity as devices with a near term “expiration” and we do not guarantee a return and a positive handling of formalities.
